Annual Governor's Days Pancake Breakfast

It's just about time for Governor's Days in Grimes, Iowa!  That means it's time for a good old fashioned pancake, sausage, and scrambled egg breakfast.  In fact, this year's event theme is "Welcome to the Jungle.", which fits perfectly with the Lions Club.

Everyone is welcome to attend the breakfast, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 9th, 6:30-10 a.m. at the Grimes Community Complex (410 SE Main Street). This is a free will offering breakfast. The club will also hold a raffle offering gift cards from Fareway. The profits from the event go to support a number of local and regional causes.  Of course, Lions Club is best known for their work to help prevent blindness.
