Thank You Grimes!

Thanks to everyone who took time out of their busy weekend schedules to attend the Grimes Lions Club breakfast on Saturday August 8th.  

The event was successful thanks to the participation and generosity of the many who came out and supported the event.  The proceeds from this event will go to help a variety of causes.  In fact, at our upcoming meeting on the evening of August 10th, we will be honoring a couple of the students who recieved funds via the organization's scholarship fund.  Scholarships is just one of many ways the Grimes Lions supports the community of Grimes.

A note on the food; the French Toast is becoming increasingly popular.  In fact, for the third time in a row we used up every piece of bread we had on hand.  Also, Lionel the Lion made an appearance and was greeted by a lot of young smiling faces, and a few old smiling faces too.
